Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Banking Operations Officer. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the banking and insurance industries while supporting day-to-day operational activities in a fast-paced environment. Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $21.83/hr

Responsibilities

Assist with claims processing and salvage recovery activities
Support onboarding processes for new vendors
Enter and manage data accurately within various portals
Perform reconciliations and prepare reports as required
Handle transaction processing in line with established SLAs
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners effectively
Respond to requests and escalate issues when necessary
Contribute to process improvements and operational support initiatives
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance regulations
Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions
Desired Skill-Set

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle high volumes of work
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team
Good understanding of MS and FX products (e.g., options, foreign exchange, money market)
Capable of adapting to changing policies and procedures
Knowledge of global trading platforms (asset)
Experience with data analytics and reconciliation (asset)
