Building Intelligence Engineer (HVAC / BAS / Field + Client-Facing) – Toronto (GTA)
We’re hiring a hands-on Building Intelligence Engineer to support cutting-edge HVAC optimization and smart building systems across the GTA.
This is a field-first, client-facing role for someone who loves being on-site, solving real problems, and seeing systems come to life—not sitting behind a desk designing them.
🔧 What you’ll do
Install, commission, and optimize HVAC / building automation systems
Work on-site across GTA buildings (2–3 days/week)
Coordinate with subcontractors (electricians, controls vendors, etc.)
Act as the on-site technical representative with clients
Ensure systems are fully operational and data is flowing correctly
Support troubleshooting and post-install optimization
🎯 What we’re looking for
5+ years in HVAC, BAS, controls, or commissioning
Strong hands-on field experience (not design-only)
Comfortable working directly with clients and contractors
Experience with building automation systems (Niagara/Tridium is a plus)
Strong communicator who can manage on-site execution
