🌟 Hiring: Database Administrator (Contract) 🌟
📍 Location: Toronto (Fully Remote – may change in future)
⏳ Duration: 6 months + possible extension
🕒 Schedule: 8:30am–5pm, Monday–Friday (37.5 hrs/week)

🔹 About the Role
Join the Global Technology and Enterprise Platform (GTEP) Database Operations team, supporting Microsoft SQL Server environments both on-premises and in the cloud. You’ll play a key role in ensuring database availability, security, and performance while collaborating with industry leaders in a dynamic financial services environment.

✔ Must-Have Skills
8–10+ years as a Database Administrator
5+ years with Public Cloud (GCP Cloud SQL, Azure MI/DBaaS/IaaS)
Strong MSSQL expertise (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, PolyBase, Power BI, etc.)
Experience with MSSQL 2022/2019/2017, HA/DR, performance tuning, backups
Scripting/automation with PowerShell, C#, VB Scripts, SSIS, T-SQL

⭐ Nice-to-Have Skills
Microsoft/Google Data Platform certification
Windows Server administration (2016/2019)
Knowledge of AD, firewall, authentication methods
Experience with Always-On, Availability Groups, Replication
Backup/recovery/compression techniques
