Job Description
We’re actively looking for a Senior Project Manager with deep Ontario public sector experience to support a high-impact infrastructure portfolio within our public sector client.
Important:
This is NOT a fit for candidates coming from banking, insurance, or purely private sector environments.
We are specifically seeking professionals who have delivered large, complex infrastructure projects within the Ontario public sector or government agencies.
Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite (downtown Toronto)
Contract: 6 months with renewal
Rate: $110/hr
What We’re Looking For
You bring:
8+ years managing I&IT infrastructure projects (lifecycle, enhancements, operations)
Proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure initiatives in Ontario public sector / government environments
Strong background in:
Infrastructure planning & prioritization
Risk management & governance (CAB, change management)
Stakeholder engagement across ministries/agencies
Experience managing vendors and multi-stream delivery teams
Ability to present to senior leadership (status, risks, resolutions)
🛠 Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of I&IT infrastructure initiatives
Manage change requests, CAB presentations, and risk mitigation
Oversee implementation plans and coordinate across stakeholders
Ensure alignment with public sector standards, policies, and service delivery expectations
Partner with vendors and internal teams to deliver successful outcomes
Provide executive-level reporting and updates
Nice to Have
Agile / Scrum experience
Knowledge of Microsoft, Cisco, HPE technologies
ITSM / ServiceNow experience
PMP certification (or equivalent)

We are prioritizing candidates with direct Ontario public sector or broader government infrastructure delivery experience. This is critical for success in this role.
