Location: On-site, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Type: Contract (open to Canadian contractors only)
Rate: $40.00 – $75.00 per hour
Security Requirement
Mandatory: Valid Canadian Federal Government Secret Clearance

Overview
NORAMTEC Consultants Ottawa is seeking an experienced Computer Application Support – Level 2 professional to support Department of National Defence (DND) environments. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in secure, complex Government of Canada systems and the ability to operate within a classified, on-site setting.

Mandatory Experience Requirements
The contractor must demonstrate:
A minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 3 years conducting:
Server administration
Network engineering
Network management
Work involving the Government of Canada security orders and network policies

A minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 6 years analysing, developing, and implementing:
System modules, subsystems, and programs within a System of Systems environment
Experience with:
GCCS-J
Tactical Awareness Kit (TAK)
Ground Tactical Data Link Systems
System of Systems Definition:
A System of Systems is a collection of task-oriented or dedicated systems that pool their resources and capabilities to create a new, more complex system offering greater functionality and performance than the sum of its individual components.
Experience with Cross Domain Solutions, such as Radiant Mercury (or similar technologies), is required.
