Our Insurance based client is hiring two contract IAM Analyst positions in the GTA, targeting candidates with 4-6 years of experience in the security space.

This will be a one year contract to start with potential to extend further. Candidates in the Insurance and Financial industries are preferred.

About the Role
As an IAM Analyst, you will play a key role within the Identity and Access Management Operations team, ensuring that access to systems and data is appropriately controlled, compliant, and efficient. You’ll work closely with business and technology stakeholders to support provisioning, de-provisioning, and troubleshooting access while continuously improving IAM processes.

Responsibilities
Ensure all access requests follow established approvals, granting or removing access in a timely manner.
Monitor automated provisioning workflows, producing reports and metrics, and handling exceptions when required.
Troubleshoot and resolve access issues across platforms and systems.
Execute processes to manually provision and de-provision internal and external user accounts.
Maintain adherence to all security controls, ensuring approvals and documentation are in place before access is granted.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, standards, and policies to strengthen IAM controls.
Adapt quickly to evolving IAM processes, tools, and organizational requirements.
Serve as a security ambassador, promoting awareness of access and security best practices across the organization.

Qualifications
Experience in Information Technology with strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Linux, and AIX.
Hands-on experience in access management or IAM operations (provisioning, de-provisioning, troubleshooting).
Familiarity with automated provisioning tools and workflows considered an asset.
Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow security controls and governance procedures.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify gaps and recommend process improvements.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business teams.

Nice to Have
Experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt).
Experience in large enterprise environments with complex IAM frameworks.
Understanding of regulatory requirements related to IAM (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).
