Role Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Business Analyst 1, where you will lead and provide comprehensive I&IT business analysis services, driving improvements and innovation across business and technology needs. In this pivotal role, you’ll help shape strategic solutions by maintaining business relationships and offering ongoing I&IT advisory services for business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead business analysis across all project phases, including business modeling, requirement documentation, and continuous refinement of business and data governance requirements.
Guide best practices, policies, and standards for business analysis to enhance organizational consistency.
Conduct business and data analysis, including troubleshooting, identifying key business problems, and ensuring data integrity.
Work closely with stakeholders to drive IT health-related project success, implementing solutions aligned with Ministry policies and standards.
Lead subject matter experts and facilitate working groups to assess, enhance, and document business processes.
Required Experience:
Public Sector Experience: 5+ years working with federal, provincial, or public-sector healthcare providers.
IT Knowledge: 10+ years of experience with MS SQL, Azure DevOps, relational database technologies, and emerging IT trends.
Core Skills: Expertise in business and data analysis, enterprise-level problem solving, and experience managing complex IT health-related projects.
Data Governance Experience: 5+ years of experience with frameworks like DAMA/CORBIT, developing and maintaining enterprise-level governance materials.
General Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while building strong stakeholder relationships.
Experience in data governance, change management, and driving best practices across the organization.
