Senior Business Analyst

Our Canadian banking client is seeking a strong Senior Business Analyst to join their team on a contract basis.

Canadidates must have Canadian banking experience.
– AML is a strong must have skill
– The role is hybrid (downtown Toronto location), so candidates must be located in the GTA.
– No third-party agencies please.

Must Have Skills:
1) 10+ years of experience as Business System Analyst in large and complex application development and/or client solution delivery
2) 5+ years of experience with a wide spectrum of general technical knowledge, including programming, database
3) 5+ years’ experience modifying and developing SQL queries for data analysis and building of business requirements as well as technical specifications (for JIRA tasks assigned to developers)
4) Working knowledge of Agile Project Management, Risk Management and Change Management skills – demonstrated in recent project work

Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Recent project experience working on AML projects
• Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow – strong advantage
• Previous experience in financial industry desirable
