Data Specialist

TTP is looking for a Data Specialist to join their team in downtown Toronto on a 12-month contract, with potential for extension. This hybrid role involves 2 days of on-site work and requires prior experience as a data specialist in a professional setting.

**Required Skills:**
– Minimum of 3 years of business-focused data analytics expertise.
– Demonstrated passion for data analysis aiding investment decisions.
– Self-driven with the ability to conduct independent research.
– Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with investment and technology teams.
– Proficient in Python and SQL programming.
– Familiarity with data warehousing and big data technologies like SQL Server, Snowflake, Spark, and Databricks.
– Proficiency in data visualization tools such as PBI and Tableau.
– Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP, and associated services.
– Bachelor’s or master’s degree in quantitative fields: Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
– A minor or advanced degree in Finance is advantageous.
– Strong interest in investment and asset management.
