We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Team Lead to oversee our Unix/Linux and Storage operations across the Americas region. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine technical depth, strategic leadership, and operational excellence in a critical role that ensures the performance, security, and availability of our systems.

🔹 About the Role:
As the Unix/Linux Tower Team Lead, you will:

🔸 Lead and mentor a team of skilled IT professionals responsible for Linux/Solaris systems and SAN/NAS storage.
🔸 Drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Unix and storage solutions.
🔸 Oversee 3rd-level support, ensuring swift resolution of incidents and operational issues to maintain maximum uptime.
🔸 Develop and deliver KPIs, reports, and presentations to keep stakeholders informed.
🔸 Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across teams.

🔹 Technical Scope:

You will remain hands-on with:
✔ Administration and troubleshooting of Linux and Solaris servers, storage arrays, and replication technologies (HP3PAR, EMCCOPY).
✔ Performance monitoring, system patching, disaster recovery planning, and vulnerability remediation.
✔ Managing virtualization platforms including VMware and HP Simplivity.
✔ Supporting critical tools and processes—Red Hat Satellite, Centrify, CyberArk, HP OBM, RSA SOC, and ServiceNow.

🔹 Our Ideal Profile:
✅ 5+ years of IT experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
✅ Deep knowledge of SAN/NAS storage operations, performance tuning, and backup solutions.
✅ Proven skills in incident, problem, and change management within ITIL frameworks.
✅ Hands-on experience with Linux/Solaris scripting and administration.
✅ Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
✅ Ability to thrive in a 24/7 operational environment supporting mission-critical infrastructure.
✅ Bilingual proficiency in English and French.

✨ Experience in global IT environments and working with international teams.
✨ Familiarity with the Financial or Banking sector.
✨ Knowledge of IT operations throughout the Americas region.

📍 Location: Montreal, Canada
⌚ Duration : 12 month contract (renewable)
🌐 Work Model: on site & hybrid mix.
Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment as needed
