Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr L&D Designer/Developer- Banking/Financial who will assess learning needs, consult, scope, recommend, design and develop high quality, fully accessible, multi-approach blended learning and performance solutions supporting a complex, highly visible, fast-paced learning project that is running in agile with iterative design and development. They will be responsible for leading the design learning strategy and executing on the vision of the learning program in consultation with stakeholders and the L&D pod.

Responsibilities:

Supports a highly complex agile learning project by iteratively assessing learning needs, recommending solutions broken down into 2-week increments, allocating work and delivering timely, high-quality, consistent learning solutions that positively impact the client’s business metrics
Ability to synthesize, simplify and communicate complex information and theoretical concepts while applying clear language principles
Effectively collaborates with multiple stakeholders at all levels
Ability to review source content and requirements and identify learning needs
Works directly with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to capture content-specific knowledge
Designs and develops engaging, interactive blended learning solutions, ensuring learning and performance objectives are met
Ensures learning solutions align to the client’s brand, learner accessibility and principles of diversity and inclusion, leveraging established standards and guidelines and achieve success criteria while managing scope, risks and stakeholder engagement, and problem resolution
Leverages best in class common practices, agile processes and measures across the design/development function
Provides deep subject matter expertise in learning and performance consulting, including knowledge of external best practices and emerging trends; maintains best practices in agile instructional design and development and program evaluation and measurement
Provides design and development thought leadership around how to effectively design and develop in increments and/or industry knowledge, and participates in knowledge transfer within the team
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
Protects the interests of the organization – identifies and manages risks, and escalates non-standard activities/concerns as necessary
Maintains a culture of risk management and control
Adapts quickly to change, effectively reprioritizing work based on shifting requirements and needs of the business
Desired Skill Set:

5-7 years of experience as a Learning & Development Instructional Designer & Developer
Advanced MS Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project
Demonstrated experience in instructional design & the application of adult learning principles, L&D
Experience with Camtasia, Snag it, Audacity
Experience with the design and development of e-learning solutions
Advanced design skills creating high-quality, accessible learning deliverables in all modalities
Working knowledge of Advanced MS Office, esp Outlook, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint
Hands-on experience with Articulate 360
Experience designing and developing learning in various forms (e-learning, eBook, Job aids, etc)
Experience with e-learning software such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate
Pro?cient in Adobe Creative Suite, and eLearning, Articulate 360, Storyline, and/or Rise
