🚨 SPANISH-SPEAKING SENIOR DATA ENGINEER – CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY 🚨
I’m hiring a Senior Data Engineer / DataOps professional for a cloud data migration and transformation initiative supporting International Banking.
📍 Location: Toronto – Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite
📅 Contract: ASAP to October 31, 2026, with extension potential
💰 Rate: Up to $70/hour
🗣️ Spanish proficiency is mandatory

The successful candidate will help modernize enterprise data pipelines, including migrating workloads to Databricks and implementing scalable data transformations.
Key requirements:
✅ 8+ years of Data Engineering experience
✅ 3+ years building solutions with Azure Databricks
✅ Strong experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines
✅ Hands-on expertise with Python, PySpark, Java or Scala
✅ Advanced SQL and data-processing experience
✅ Big data pipelines and relational/non-relational databases
✅ Data migration, ETL/ELT and cloud transformation experience
✅ Familiarity with Git, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
✅ Advanced English and professional Spanish communication skills
Experience with data modelling, data warehousing, governance, security, compliance and data-quality testing would be an asset.
