Software Testing Specialist

Procom is currently looking for a Software Testing Specialist (Senior Automation Developer) for our client in the private sector

THIS CONTRACT HAS A TBD START DATE AND GOES FOR 12 MONTHS LATER (GREAT CHANCE OF ONGOING EXTENSIONS)
LOCATION: HYBRID (MUST BE ON-SITE 4 DAYS/WEEK (KANATA, ON)
LANGUAGE: ENGLISH

Required Qualifications

Education

✔️ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion.
International education must be supported by a Canadian Educational Credential Assessment (ECA).

Experience

✔️8+ years of professional experience in software verification, validation, and test automation.
✔️5+ years designing and implementing automated testing strategies.
✔️Advanced experience developing automated testing frameworks.
✔️Strong experience with Python programming and Object-Oriented Programming.
✔️Experience working with embedded software systems.
✔️Proven experience working in Agile development environments.
✔️Ability to work onsite four days per week.
