We’re Hiring: Software Developer | Toronto, ON (Hybrid) | 2-Month Contract
Are you a passionate Java Developer with strong MongoDB and SQL experience? Join a high-impact team at a leading Canadian bank, working with the Canadian Digital Banking Engineering – Credit Cards group on cutting-edge digital payment services.

🛠 Project Scope:
We’re migrating databases from SQL to MongoDB and enhancing microservices to integrate with NoSQL environments. You’ll work with a talented engineering team leveraging Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.

💰 Pay Rate: $68–$78/hr CAD (Incorporated)
🔍 Must-Have Experience:
✔ MongoDB + Microsoft SQL Server
✔ 8+ years in software development, REST APIs, large-scale platforms
✔ 4+ years with Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices
✔ Strong APM tooling (Dynatrace, Splunk – at least 2 recent projects)

✨ Nice-to-Haves:
• Exposure to Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket, LaunchDarkly
• FI/Digital Banking background
• Knowledge of Agile principles and flexible tech stack experience

👥 Soft Skills:
• Strong communicator, problem-solver, and collaborator
• Able to thrive in high-pressure, fast-changing environments
• Leadership qualities with hands-on mindset

🎓 Education:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field preferred
