Salary: $105-$110 per hour (based on experience)

Assignment Type – 3 days Onsite in downtown Toronto

Interview process: 1 remote screen + in-person follow-up

The Opportunity

The Software Engineer, Private Investments Platform is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining applications that support Private Markets business teams. The immediate focus is completing a CIO-facing insights dashboard by year-end, a web-based application giving investment leadership real-time visibility into portfolio data.

Tech Stack

Back-end: Node.js, FastAPI (Python)
Front-end: React (asset, not a hard requirement)
Data/Cloud: Snowflake (or equivalent — flexible)

What We’re Looking For

Strong full-stack or back-end generalist with a track record of shipping web applications end-to-end
Experience building APIs and data-integrated platforms in production
Comfortable with database modelling and working with financial or operational data
Ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders and translate requirements into clean, maintainable code
Self-directed and delivery-focused — able to pick up an in-flight project and drive it to completion
Experience in private markets or asset management is an asset, not a requirement
