ServiceNow Discovery Engineer / ITOM Specialist
Hybrid – Toronto, ON | $50–$75/hr. | Contract

If you’re someone who lives and breathes ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB quality, this one’s for you.
We’re looking for a hands-on expert who can build, optimize, and scale Discovery in complex enterprise environments while driving real impact across SAM, HAM, and ITOM maturity.

What you’ll be doing:
• Designing and managing MID Servers at scale
• Building custom probes, sensors, and patterns (not just OOTB)
• Driving high-quality CMDB data that actually supports the business
• Leading Service Mapping for critical applications
• Improving software compliance (SAM) and hardware lifecycle visibility (HAM)
• Working across cloud + on-prem (AWS/Azure/GCP)

What we’re looking for:
5+ years with ServiceNow Discovery + ITOM
Strong pattern development + Service Mapping (must-have)
Deep understanding of network protocols (SSH, SNMP, WMI, HTTP/S)
Scripting skills (JavaScript, PowerShell, Shell)
Experience turning messy data into trusted CMDB insights
