Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Java Application Support)

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 6 Months

Extension/Conversion: Possibility of extension or conversion to FTE based on performance

Location: Ontario,

Ideal Rate: $90- $95 (Based on Experience)

95% remote; occasional onsite attendance for training, working sessions, or team needs

Must haves:

10+ years of Java application development and production support experience.
Candidates must be eligible for an Enhanced Reliability Clearance (ERC), including:
Minimum 5 consecutive years of residency in Canada
Strong experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
4+ years of ReactJS development experience.
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, and web services.
Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket, Maven, Gradle, Artifactory, and Ansible.
Experience with Kafka.
Knowledge of OWASP, web security, authentication, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of ITIL and SDLC methodologies.
