Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Digital Billing Engineering DevOps team. This is a critical role focused on supporting, transforming, and building continuity for our Kenan Application Support environments, specifically supporting KGW and its migration/replacement with EBG.

Mandatory Requirements
Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident (onshore)
Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, Government of Canada Security Clearance

Required Technical Experience
3+ years of professional software development experience
Strong development experience with Java and Node.js
Backend experience with TypeScript and Express is considered a strong asset
Strong relational database experience with PostgreSQL or Oracle
3+ years of experience with data transformation and analytical SQL querying

Strong understanding of:
Complex SQL (subqueries, window functions, aggregations)
Triggers, partitioning, indexing, and query optimization
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
Experience leveraging AI coding assistants, particularly Claude, to improve development productivity and support data transformation
Strong proficiency with VS Code
Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
Solid understanding of REST APIs
Familiarity with Dynatrace and Jira

Preferred Experience
Experience with the Kenan billing platform or similar telecommunications billing systems
Knowledge of billing processes and schemas, or the ability to quickly learn complex billing environments
Telecommunications/BSS experience is considered an asset
