Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Hybrid Contract-to-Hire
Location: Mississauga, ON (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) or Dallas, TX
Contract: 8 months (possibility to convert to full-time)
Are you a hands-on engineer who loves building and owning infrastructure through code? We’re looking for a Senior SRE with a strong development background to join a fast-paced environment supporting enterprise-grade production systems.
What you’ll do:
Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes (AKS) clusters for scalability and security
Build and maintain Docker containers, CI/CD pipelines, and automation scripts
Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM, Helm, Packer)
Manage observability and monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus)
Collaborate with dev, systems, and networking teams to optimize workflows and reduce manual processes
You should have:
6+ years as an SRE and 6+ years in software development
Expertise in Terraform, Azure, AKS/Kubernetes, PowerShell, and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with containerization, microservices, and cloud-native architectures
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to read, understand, and write production-level code
