Our Portfolio Management team is currently growing! We’re seeking a Senior Service Specialist – someone who is detailed oriented and dedicated to excellence. The Senior Service Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurately implementation of the Private Wealth Portfolios, execution of client redemption and contribution requests, and supporting advisors on the administration of their Private Wealth accounts. This role will be integral in assisting the Overlay Portfolio Manager in the ongoing monitoring of IPC Private Client portfolios and compliance reviews.
What You Will Do
Ongoing monitoring of accounts. Identify cash flow transactions requiring rebalancing activity
Co-ordinate trading instructions between sub-advisor and NBIN trade desk
Manage and maintain all instructions pertaining to account transactions
Coordinate program rebalances and account level trade activity with NBIN
Review suitability of client account opening documentation
Set up new accounts and facilitate portfolio changes directed by advisor on the managed platform application (Harmony)
Liaison between the Advisor, Business Development, Operations and Overlay Portfolio Manager
Ensuring complete and accurate account opening documentation
Exceptional client experience when onboarding new IPC Private Wealth clients
Fielding advisor inquiries, providing suitable recommendations and delivering time sensitive solutions
Maintain database of Portfolio Allocations with timely updates for model changes
Simulate portfolio performance and provide trade correction guidance
Basic understanding of Morningstar Direct
Strong ability working with excel spreadsheets and use of formulas
Support product team to produce monthly performance reporting and portfolio analytics
Actively participate in committees to improve the operational and sales experience of advisors and their clients in the program
Actively share information with all team members to enhance the offering
What You Will Bring
Experience supporting trade execution, settlement, post trade operations and reconciliation
Experience in IIROC back-office applications (Netrep, ISM, Fundserv, Harmony, CGI W360)
Ability to confidently interpret and communicate investment and trading terminology across front, middle and back office stakeholders
Completion of CSC preferred
CIM or CFA level 1 preferred; equivalent experience considered
Proficiency with Excel and maintaining databases
Relationship-building skills with a commitment to establishing long-term advisor relationships
Ability to think critically and use sound judgment when serving clients
Post-secondary education
Proven ability to put the client first
Ability to listen actively, understand and give advice
Goal oriented at an individual and team level
The base salary for this position is between $57,100 – $85,600 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
