I’m currently looking to connect with highly qualified professionals for a long-term Department of National Defence (DND) opportunity supporting a large-scale defence data environment.

This role is ideal for senior Product Owners, Agile Delivery Leads, or Data Program Leaders who have led cross-functional teams in complex Government of Canada defence or intelligence environments.

Key Requirements
✅ Active PMP Certification (Project Management Professional – PMI)
✅ Master’s Degree in one of the following:
MBA
MPA
Management
Managerial Economics
Related graduate-level business/management discipline
✅ Advanced Product Owner Certification (one of):
A-CSPO or CSP-PO (Scrum Alliance)
PSPO II or PSPO III (Scrum.org)
SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager (POPM)
✅ Minimum 5 years of continuous experience within the last 8 years as a:
Senior Product Owner, or
Agile Delivery Lead
✅ Minimum 5 years of managing an entire cross-functional defence data team comprised of:
Data Engineers
Business Intelligence Analysts
✅ Demonstrated experience within the Government of Canada defence, national security, or intelligence community, including:
Managing project dependencies
Coordinating feature releases
Supporting multiple concurrent lines of effort
Working with Protected A (or higher) data environments
✅ Extensive experience using Enterprise Azure DevOps (ADO)
Contract Details

🔒 Security Clearance Required: Active Government of Canada SECRET Clearance – Must already be active!

📍 Location: Remote, with occasional attendance at classified briefings in the National Capital Region as required

📅 Contract Duration: Approximately 48 weeks
