Senior Network Engineer

NEW OPPORUNITY ✨

Senior Network Engineer for a full-time, long-term government contract. The role will focus on the following:
🔹 Support, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems (client/server/storage/network devices, mobile, etc.)
🔹 Provide Tier 1 & 2 support, including problem diagnosis and resolution
🔹 Administer containerized deployments (Kubernetes, Linux/UNIX, clustered storage solutions)
🔹 Develop and implement backup & disaster recovery strategies
🔹 Collaborate with developers, network teams, and management to ensure system stability and security
🔹 Automate routine tasks with scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.)

Must haves:
✅ 10+ years of related network experience
✅ Strong Linux background (with some Windows exposure)
✅ Hands-on experience with VMware & IT automation tools (e.g., Ansible)
✅ Extensive troubleshooting expertise in infrastructure
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
✅ Active Top Secret Clearance with the Government of Canada or Eligible to obtain Top Secret
✅ Canadian Citizenship
