🚨 Hiring: Senior Mainframe Developer / Designer 🚨
📍 Location: Hybrid (4 Days in Office)
📅 Duration: Long-Term Contract Opportunity
🌎 Eligibility: This opportunity is open to candidates currently residing in Canada only.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer / Designer with deep expertise in IBM Mainframe technologies and strong analytical and leadership skills.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
✔ Independently analyze IMS segments and DB2 objects
✔ Create detailed technical designs and lead junior developers
✔ Participate in end-to-end field mapping activities
✔ Develop, unit test, and deploy code
✔ Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
✔ Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability
🔹 Required Technical Skills:
✅ IBM Mainframe Development
✅ Deep knowledge of IMS
✅ COBOL, JCL, SQL, DB2
✅ Endevor, File-AID, CA-7
✅ Tools: INSYNC, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow
✅ AI awareness with exposure to GitHub Copilot and VS Code
✅ Strong understanding of DB2 objects and processing
🔹 Nice to Have:
➕ Knowledge of Kafka
➕ Experience with RESTful APIs
