Senior IT Project Manager (Data Modernization) Contract Duration: June 2026 – May 2027 (1-year + 1-year extension option) Location: Remote (may shift to Ottawa or Toronto if required) We’re looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a high-impact data modernization initiative focused on enterprise-scale transformation and Databricks-driven delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive execution, governance, and stakeholder alignment across complex, cross-functional teams. 🔹 What You’ll Do Lead end-to-end delivery of a data modernization program Own project planning, governance, RAID management, and reporting Coordinate cross-functional technical and business teams Manage budgets, schedules, milestones, and delivery risk Drive UAT, go-live, and post-implementation activities Present updates to senior leadership and steering committees 🔹 What We’re Looking For 8+ years in IT / Technical Project Management Strong experience in Agile / SDLC environments Proven ability to deliver large-scale data or platform programs PMP or PRINCE2 certification (preferred) Strong stakeholder management and governance experience Experience with Databricks or data platforms (asset) ⭐ Nice to Have Experience in data migration or cloud modernization Exposure to public sector or regulated environments Strong reporting and executive communication skills 💰 Compensation up to 120/hr (INC) 📩 Apply Now If you’re a delivery-focused Project Manager who thrives in complex data environments, we’d love to hear from you.
