Senior Business IT Analyst – Onsite | Regina, Saskatchewan | 2-Year Contract with 2-Year Extension

 

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business IT Analyst to support a key public sector client in Regina, Saskatchewan. This is a full-time, onsite position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to a transformative project focused on modernizing heritage protection systems.

 

Position Details:

Contract Duration: Initial 2 years, with potential for an additional 2 yearsLocation: Regina, Saskatchewan (onsite only)Schedule: Monday to Friday, morning shiftsHours: 37.5 hours/weekHourly Rate: $90 – $110 (market competitive)

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project teams, subject matter experts, and vendors to analyze and document business processes, workflows, and requirements.Lead efforts in eliciting, managing, and communicating functional and non-functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle.Develop detailed use cases, business rules, and process models (As-Is and To-Be).Conduct feasibility studies, business cases, and technical assessments to support decision-making.Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet organizational needs.Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather insights and drive project alignment.Lead testing activities, including developing test scripts and guiding User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Support organizational change management by preparing teams and developing training materials.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within IT projects, preferably in public sector or government environments.Proven ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements.Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.Experience with process modeling, requirements management, and testing coordination.Ability to work on-site in Regina, Saskatchewan.
