Senior Information Security Advisor

🚨Looking for a Senior Information Security Advisor for a Financial Services client🚨

📍 Hybrid (Once a week in office) – North York, Waterloo, or Toronto, Ontario
⏰ 12 Months (with possibility of extension)
💰 $75/hr (INC) – MAX

Only candidates meeting ALL the following criteria will be considered

Required Qualifications:
-Minimum 7 years of deep experience in information security or IT, with a specific focus on performing comprehensive risk assessments for applications, suppliers, and projects.
-Strong hands-on understanding of cloud-based technologies and architectures, specifically AWS and Azure, including experience executing risk assessments for SaaS solutions.
-In-depth knowledge of security protocols and core technologies (such as encryption, firewalls, SIEM, and DLP) alongside a sharp understanding of current attack vectors and remediation strategies.
-Proven familiarity with reviewing legal contracts, interpreting technical context, and ensuring the inclusion of appropriate information security clauses and provisions.
-Must be eligible for and able to successfully obtain a Canadian Reliability Security Clearance prior to the start date, which requires a minimum of 5 years of consecutive residency in Canada.
-Completed post-secondary education in computer science, engineering, or a related field, ideally paired with recognized security designations like CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or CISA.
