Senior Functional Testing Analyst

🚨Looking for a Senior Functional Testing Analyst for a Banking client🚨

📍 Hybrid (4 days on site) – Toronto, ON
⏰ 1 year (high possibility to extend)
💰 $80/hr (inc) – MAX

In this role, you will collaborate closely with a large Agile delivery pod, business stakeholders, and data engineers to validate business processes and complex financial calculations. Your ultimate goal is to ensure end-to-end data integrity across critical risk management, balance sheet, and reporting platforms.

Only candidates meeting ALL the following criteria will be considered

Required Qualifications:
-Minimum 7+ years of experience in functional testing, system integration, and end-to-end regression testing within complex enterprise environments.
-Deep expertise analyzing large datasets, executing source-to-target cross-system reconciliations, and validating complex financial calculations, balances, or forecasts.
-Advanced SQL skills paired with hands-on experience using Databricks SQL (or similar analytics platforms) to independently execute data validation and troubleshoot root cause issues.
-Proven ability to translate business rules into testable conditions, manage defect lifecycles, and maintain strict traceability matrices using Jira and Confluence.
-Strong functional QA/BSA hybrid mindset with the capability to sit with Treasury stakeholders, understand business processes, and actively challenge unexpected data outcomes.
