Senior Data Governance Consultant

One of Millenilink’s clients is hiring a Data Governance subject matter expert for a 9-week contract. The successful candidate should have experience as the expert responsible for drafting policies and standards for data governance, data quality, data integration and all management practices of business data. The policies should cover areas including but not limited to metadata management, data quality, data privacy, and data security. Experience with Unstructured Data Management is extremely beneficial for this role.

In order to qualify for this opportunity candidates must have:

5+ years experience with data governance,
Experience as the primary subject matter expert responsible for drafting current state assessments, documenting requirements for use cases, and drafting playbooks for program implementation
Experience drafting data policies for compliance with internal and external standards (ex. GDPR)
Experience with unstructured data management and associated solutions
Ability to work with an end client in an advisory standpoint for data governance based on specific business requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

Experience with technologies such as: Microsoft Co-Pilot, Opentext OR similar technologies
Experience working in a consulting capacity
