Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Datasphere Consultant with strong experience in SAP BW/BW/4HANA to lead and execute data migration projects from SAP BW/BW/4HANA to SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud). The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in data modeling, ETL processes, and semantic layer design within the SAP ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end migration from SAP BW/BW/4HANA to SAP Datasphere.
Design and implement data integration strategies using SAP Datasphere connectors (e.g., SDI/SDA) for both SAP and non-SAP data sources.
Develop and optimize data pipelines, semantic models, and views in SAP Datasphere.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
Ensure data quality, governance, and lineage throughout the migrated data landscape.
Provide technical leadership and mentor junior consultants and data engineers.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data replication, performance, and transformation logic.
Document architecture, migration procedures, and operational steps.
Required Skills & Experience:
6+ years of experience in SAP BW/BW/4HANA including data modeling, ETL, and reporting.
1+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere.
Proven success in BW-to-Datasphere migration projects.
Strong understanding of SAP HANA, ABAP CDS views, and AMDP procedures.
Experience with SAP BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and data federation.
Familiarity with DevOps, version control, and agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP Certification in BW/4HANA or SAP Datasphere.
Experience with RISE with SAP or S/4HANA transformation programs.
Exposure to data privacy, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
