Contract

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join their dynamic team on a contract basis. In this role, you will work with cutting-edge Salesforce technologies to design, develop, and maintain web applications, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards and business requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:
Ensure Accessibility standards are met (AODA).
Develop and maintain system design models, program codes, technical documentation, and specifications.
Design, develop, and implement web applications that work across modern browsers and various platforms, including mobile devices.
Conduct research and assessment of technical design issues.
Contribute to project plans, including work breakdown and resource estimation.
Assist with data validation testing and ensure unit testing meets functionality requirements.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect management.
Ensure compliance with the architecture framework, system standards, and Agile Development Methodology.
Work with leading-edge technologies, ensuring usability, security, and privacy for web and mobile applications.
Provide knowledge transfer and documentation as required by the Project Manager.
Ensure development solutions align with business requirements.
Skills & Experience Requirements:
Technical Expertise & Guidance:
10+ years of experience in solutions development.
Knowledge of privacy and security requirements for software development in a healthcare context (or equivalent).
Expertise in technical design, security, and recovery procedures.
Experience with relational and hierarchical databases and information retrieval packages using query languages.
Experience in producing reports, unit testing, and application integration testing.
Experience with one or more communication protocols.
Development Skills:
Experience with the Vlocity platform (FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, Calculation Matrices, OmniScripts, Vlocity Data Model).
Salesforce Experience/Community Cloud expertise.
Experience integrating Salesforce with internal applications.
Strong understanding of Salesforce security settings, governor limits, and platform limitations.
Experience with data migration, creating reports, and dashboards.
Familiarity with source control tools (GitLab), branching, and pull requests.
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), preferably in Salesforce projects.
Ability to support UAT and deployment activities with application fixes.
Detail-oriented, flexible, creative, and able to manage multiple tasks.
Proven track record of meeting strict deadlines.
