Project Manager – Software Projects (7-Month Contract)
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 Days in Office)

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in software development and project management? We’re looking for a Project Manager for a 7-month contract, a leader in transportation and infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on software projects that make an impact in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead complex projects from start to finish, ensuring projects meet scope, budget, and timelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage project resources and coordinate with vendors and contractors to deliver on project goals.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.
Develop and manage project budgets, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed.
Provide leadership to project teams, ensuring high standards and best practices are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
Communicate project status, risks, and resolutions to senior management and key stakeholders.

Required Experience:
8+ years of experience in project management, preferably in technology or software development environments.
2-3 years of experience working on software development projects.
Strong knowledge and experience in budgeting, risk management, and project planning.
Familiarity with Microsoft Project or similar project management software.
PMP certification is a plus but not required.
