Location: Remote
Term: 6 months (With optional extension of upto 6 months)
Duties:
• Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams on Windows 11 migration and roll out schedule. Collaborate on proof of concept and limited production roll outs
• Assist in developing project plans, rollout schedules, and estimates pertaining to Windows 11 migration, and other major End User desktop upgrades or changes.
• Architect new IT services, develop solution paper and test plans.
• Evaluate current services and recommend remedial actions where required.
• Assist in determining hardware/software requirements.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams on proof of concept and limited production roll outs.
• Communicate operation guidelines and policies to the clients.
• Apply and interpret how the operation guidelines enhance the department’s way of doing business.
• Review new services and technology requests by business area and assess their impact on the operational environment, giving recommendations for remediation.
• Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and estimates pertaining to architectural deployment and services delivery.
• Assist in developing task lists and resource assignments within the context of architectural planning and deployments.
• Assist with implementation of IT infrastructure with an emphasis on End User desktop technical support.
• Document technical recommendations and provide technical advice and guidance to management, operations and project team members and within shared IT services.
• Ensure change management processes are followed.
• Make recommendations to project team members pertaining to issues, risks and client satisfaction.
• Provide tracking and reporting of time and status on all work as required.
Must Haves
Experience as a project coordinator leading technical teams in multiple implementation and execution of information technology projects in an environment of similar size and complexity to the Client.
Experience coordinating major End User Computing desk top updates or changes, including testing, rollout scheduling, reporting. Updates or changes might be:
-new software or updates to existing software or operating systems (e.g. significant feature changes for Windows and/or monthly security updates)
-changes to delivery methods, computer architecture.
Experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders.
Experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs and project closures.
Experience in a project management role.
Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
