PostgreSQL DBA

ur Big 5 Canadian banking client is hiring a PostgreSQL DBA on a contract basis. This is a 6 month contract to start with potential extension, onsite twice per week at their downtown Toronto location. The rate is $62/hr inc. based on a 37.5 hour workweek.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
• 10+ Years as a Database Administrator or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of recent experience with Strong PostgreSQL skills from version 13 to current.
• 2+ years of Hands-on experience with MongoDB Enterprise and MongoDB Atlas.
• Previous experience with GCP AlloyDB is critical for this role
• Proficient in configuring MongoDB in a Linux environment and cloud
• Experience with implementing multi-data center replica sets and sharded clusters
• Knowledge of audit processes, security measures, encryption at rest, MongoDB version upgrades

Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Previous experience with Cassandra Database and Redis experience is nice to have
