Job Title: Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA – Intermediate)

Location: Toronto, ON

Type: Contract (6+ Months)

Work Mode: Hybrid (2–3 days onsite/week)

Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Pega CLSA to lead application migration and upgrade initiatives, including cloud and on-prem transformations. This role requires strong architectural expertise, hands-on implementation skills, and the ability to guide teams through complex modernization programs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and architect Pega application upgrades and migrations (on-prem to cloud, version upgrades).
Assess existing systems and define migration strategies ensuring minimal downtime and risk.
Design end-to-end architecture, including integrations, data migration, and performance optimization.
Ensure adherence to Pega Guardrails, best practices, and enterprise standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders, DevOps, QA, and infrastructure teams for successful delivery.
Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and team mentorship.
Troubleshoot complex issues related to performance, security, and integrations.
Support deployment and post-upgrade stabilization activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications

 

Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) – Mandatory
7+ years of IT experience with strong hands-on Pega expertise
Proven experience in Pega upgrades and migration projects
Strong understanding of:
Pega Platform Architecture
Case Management, Data, UI, and Integrations
Pega Deployment Manager / DevOps
Performance tuning & production support
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) – Preferred
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
