TekStaff’s Client has a current vacancy for a Multimedia Designer

Pay Rate Range: $42-52

Job Description

This is a 12 month contract located in Toronto, ON (Hybrid – In Office 3 Days per week)

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

1) 5+ years of experience as a multimedia designer

2) Advanced Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects proficiency and strong grasp of Figma as a production tool.

3) Strong graphic design skills and motion design skills with proven experience bringing a brand’s look and feel to life with both, strong video editing skills

4) Proven experience developing and producing static and animated design concepts involving text and image, showing a mastery of concept development, visual hierarchy, timing, and impact

5) Advanced platform knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, including user behaviours, post specs, content formats, and trends

Nice-To-Have Skills:

1) Experience working with financial consumer brands

2) Experience producing social-first content

3) Experience as an illustrator

Soft Skills Required:

• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills

• Creative, collaborative mindset with consistent attention to detail

• Excellent time management skills

• Ability to manage workload independently and within timelines on multiple projects while maintaining a consistently high standard of design output

Education:

Diploma or degree in art, design, or similar; or extensive work experience demonstrating the above requirements.
