We’re looking for a dynamic IT Web Strategist Consultant to join our team for a demanding contract role!

What You’ll Do:
As a Web Strategist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our web transformation. Your responsibilities will include:
Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute comprehensive web strategies that align with business objectives.

Lead the development of scalable personalization strategies.
Collaborate on content strategy, focusing on SEO and content development.
Build user flows and customer journeys for target personas.
Drive the execution of accessibility strategies for content and technology.
Web Transformation:
Lead website redesigns and platform migrations.
Ensure alignment between web transformation efforts and marketing initiatives (including campaigns, paid advertising, social, and email marketing).

Operational Guidance:
Provide operational guidance to cross-functional teams to ensure best practices in design, content management, and development.
Use data insights and analytics to guide continuous website improvements.
Monitor and analyze web performance metrics and user behavior to measure effectiveness.
Collaborate with UX designers to ensure an optimal user experience for all target audiences.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, IT, and other departments to ensure cohesive strategies.
Ensure strategic alignment across annual and quarterly business plans.
Specific Project/Platform Requirements:
Spearheaded website transformation initiatives.
Develop and execute strategies related to SEO, content management, personalization, and more.
Advise and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices.
Support team leadership in both short- and long-term strategy development.

Skills & Experience:
Required:
5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in web strategies with large organizations or government entities.
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align web efforts to business and customer goals.
Expertise in usability and user-centric approaches.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to discuss complex topics effectively.
Project management experience, particularly in agile methodologies.
In-depth knowledge of CMS platforms, SEO, and web analytics.
Assets:
Experience with Adobe AEM.
Knowledge of Accessibility and WCAG standards.
Bilingual in French and English is a plus.
