This is a vacant position which will report into the Information Technology Team Lead.

What you’ll do

Provide customer-focused support for on site and remote employees throughout Canada and the US
Support legacy reporting applications for the SYSPRO ERP system
Lead the effort to modernize our reporting systems leveraging using Business Intelligence tools including PowerBI and Qliksense
Assist with the management of all aspects of the Microsoft 365 platform including Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune and Defender.
Lead initiatives to improve business productivity
Work with managed service providers on the support of IT infrastructure including on-premises networks, servers and backup systems
Test and evaluate new technology for the company
Manage access to all systems for employees and external partners
Over time, become involved in support of servers, databases and backup systems
Other duties as assigned

Who you are

5-10 years of experience in a similar role
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
Experience with software development in Visual Studio with VB.net
Experience with development of business reports in Qliksense or PowerBI
Knowledge of databases, data processes, program architectures, and data security
Experience with end to end troubleshooting of systems and software
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, SharePoint and VMWare an asset
Solid understanding of Windows servers, virtualization environments, backup systems and networks
Experience with ERP systems is an asset
Up-to-date insights into the latest developments in the information technology sphere
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
