About the Role:

We are seeking detail-oriented and analytical IT Data Analysts to join our team supporting a public sector organization in New Brunswick. This role requires working onsite and will focus on data analysis, reporting, and supporting decision-making through actionable insights.

As an IT Data Analyst, you will play a key role in maintaining and interpreting data systems, identifying trends, and providing reports that guide operational and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, clean, process, and analyze data from multiple sources.
Develop and maintain databases and data collection systems.
Utilize tools like Excel and SQL to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
Please prepare clear reports and visualizations to let stakeholders know the findings.
Collaborate with business units to support data-driven decision-making.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Data Analyst, IT Data Analyst, or similar role
Strong skills in Excel, SQL, and data visualization/reporting tools
Ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Previous public sector or government experience is an asset (but not required)

Compensation:

Hourly pay rate: $35 – $45 per hour (based on skills and experience)
