Job Title: IT Cyber Security Manager (PM – Security)
Location: Hybrid (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada)
Contract Duration: Up to 24-month contract
Security Clearance Required: Yes (5+ years of Permanent Residency in Canada or Canadian Citizenship)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced IT Cyber Security Manager (PM – Security) to join our team. This position is responsible for the establishment, development, and delivery of a comprehensive information security program across multiple business units. The PM – Security will play a key role in ensuring that the organization’s information assets are effectively protected from cyber threats and risks. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a critical security initiative and work closely with various teams to design and implement a robust security management strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and establish the security delivery mechanisms for a new department-wide information security program.
Understand and assess the organization’s cyber security needs, including risks and threats, and how they can be communicated and managed across business units.
Collaborate with IMT teams and business stakeholders to identify, reduce, and manage security threats/risks, ensuring effective protection of information assets.
Provide strong leadership and relationship-building to support the development of a comprehensive and effective security management program.
Required Experience:
8+ years of experience in defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in managing large-scale IT and cyber security projects.
Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Critical thinker with a deep understanding of security risks, mitigation strategies, and information protection.
A background in security management programs and IT solutions implementation is highly desirable
