About the Role (Please Read Carefully)

This role is for experienced Integration Developers who live and breathe APIs.

We are building a modern Azure-based integration platform completely from scratch. There is no legacy code, no application maintenance, and no UI development. This team exists purely to design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise-grade APIs and integration services.

What You’ll Be Doing (Real Day-to-Day)

This role is intentionally balanced to create impact beyond pure coding:

50% – Hands-on Development
Design and build APIs on Azure using .NET and Azure Functions
Implement synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns
Develop real-time messaging using Azure Service Bus (pub/sub)
Register, secure, publish, and support APIs using Azure API Management
Participate in code reviews focused on quality and performance
30% – Collaboration & Agile Delivery
Work within an Agile delivery team
Engage with application teams consuming your APIs
Explain integration patterns, usage, performance, and troubleshooting
Participate in daily scrums, planning, and technical discussions
20% – Improving How We Work
Actively challenge the status quo
Identify inefficiencies in DevOps, workflows, and integration patterns
Bring forward ideas based on past experience
Help evolve standards, practices, and architecture
We are looking for engineers whoask why, propose better solutions, and want to shape how integration is done.

Core Integration Experience

7–10 years of hands-on experience building integration platforms
Proven experience working directly on API platforms, not just consuming APIs from applications
Strong expertise with:
Azure API Management
RESTful API design (sync & async)
.NET (for integration development)
Azure Functions (serverless)
Event-Driven & Middleware Architecture

Experience with:
Azure Service Bus
Publisher/subscriber patterns
Message-based and real-time system integration
Understanding of enterprise SOA and middleware concepts
Cloud & Modern Platforms

Solid understanding of microservices architectures
Experience deploying APIs in containerized or orchestrated environments
Familiarity with AKS (knowledge required, setup handled by platform teams)
Data Integration (Secondary Focus)

Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric is an asset (ADF experience is fully acceptable)
DevOps & Delivery

Strong experience working in CI/CD pipelines
Comfortable with:
Git
Azure DevOps Boards
Automated builds, testing, and deployments
Able to own work from user story → code → test → production
Production Support & Monitoring

Familiar with monitoring and diagnostics using Azure Application Insights
Able to investigate errors, understand logs, identify root causes, and implement fixes
Strong quality mindset and SLA awareness
Education & Certifications

University degree required
Azure or integration certifications are an asset, not mandatory
Hands-on experience matters more than credentials
What this role is NOT:

To avoid mismatches, please do not apply if your background is primarily:

Application or web development
UI / front-end development
Database-focused development
Learning APIs “on the side” rather than building integration platforms
This role requires proven, deep API and integration experience from day one.

Why This role is different:

All new development – no legacy cleanup
Strong technical leadership with deep development background
Emphasis on engineering excellence
Developers have a voice in architecture and process
Real ownership of integration solutions from design to production
