🚀 Hiring: Senior GIS Application Developer / Upgrade Specialist
Are you a Senior GIS Systems Analyst & Developer with deep expertise in Esri ArcGIS and VertiGIS / Geocortex? We are looking for a skilled technical expert to lead a high-impact, multi-year geospatial upgrade project!

📍 Location: Onsite (Toronto, ON or Peterborough, ON)
⏳ Duration: 7-Month Contract
💰 Rate: $85 – $95 / hr

🔑 Key Responsibilities
Lead the modernization & upgrade of business-critical geospatial applications from legacy Geocortex to the next-generation VertiGIS platform.
Architecture, design, development, and integration of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise solutions (ArcGIS Portal, Server, ArcPro SDK, ArcGIS Notebooks).
Develop web applications utilizing JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, VertiGIS Studio, and FME.
Scripting and backend development using Python, C#, .NET, SQL, and REST APIs.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, provide technical leadership, and prepare SDLC documentation (build books, install guides, specs).

📋 Must-Have Qualifications
GIS Suites: Hands-on experience with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, VertiGIS / Geocortex, and FME.
Development Skills: Strong web development skills (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5) & scripting (Python, C#, .NET, SQL).
Cloud & Architecture: Familiarity with Azure, GIS infrastructure/networking, SOA, and REST web services.
Public Sector / Enterprise Experience: Prior experience in large-scale government or land/resource enterprise environments is a major asset.
