Working with one of our top clients, this role calls for an Emission Associate – Carbon Credit Market to support the delivery of a wide range of carbon credit products across diverse portfolios. The ideal candidate will bring direct experience in the energy or oil & gas sector, strong technical and analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, client-focused environment. This role requires balancing immediate project execution with long-term planning while continuously driving improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

Serve as a client advocate by building strong relationships, setting clear expectations, and ensuring a seamless client experience from contract initiation through project completion.
Support implementation and registration of new projects, including collection and monitoring of emissions data for existing portfolios.
Ensure monitoring practices meet technical requirements defined by protocols, regulations, and internal credit development standards.
Review client data in a timely manner, communicate concerns effectively, and maintain proactive engagement during active campaigns.
Execute campaigns that drive client value and project success while aligning with emissions reduction and carbon credit requirements.
Contribute to data quality and control processes to maintain compliance and accuracy.
Act as a collaborative, proactive, and flexible team member who contributes to a motivated, engaged, and positive work culture.
Must-Have Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in greenhouse gas reduction projects, carbon credit markets, emissions management, or related fields.
Technical, engineering, or scientific background (e.g., chemical/mechanical engineering, petroleum engineering/diploma, environmental sciences/engineering, instrumentation).
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage across disciplines and stakeholders.
Proven experience managing and implementing projects across multiple stakeholders and/or jurisdictions.
Familiarity with jurisdictional and sectoral standards and regulations in methane.
Exposure to frameworks and programs such as Energy Transition, Sustainability, TIER, NPRI, GHGRP, OBPS, CFR, LCFS, WCI, MRV/MMV.
Degree in Engineering or Environmental Science.
Nice to Have

Exposure to emissions, carbon, and regulatory reporting.
