Developer – Python / SQL (Capital Markets)

We’re Hiring: Developer – Python / SQL (Capital Markets) TTP has an immediate need for a Python/SQL Developer to support a high-impact cloud transformation initiative within the Capital Markets Investment Analytics space. **Important: We are specifically looking for hands-on Python/SQL Developers — not DevOps Engineers or pure Data Engineers** Location: Toronto (Hybrid – 4 days onsite at downtown) Contract: 8 months with renewal Rate: $100/hr The Opportunity Join a highly technical team driving the migration of investment analytics platforms to Snowflake and Azure Cloud. This role sits at the intersection of data, cloud, and capital markets, working directly with developers and investment professionals. What You’ll Be Doing • Build and accelerate data/cloud migration frameworks • Migrate analytics, data assets, and applications to Azure & Snowflake • Enhance systems supporting trading, execution, and research • Develop and optimize Python-based solutions interacting with large datasets • Contribute to best practices across cloud, DevOps, and agile delivery What We’re Looking For • 4+ years in software development • Strong Python + SQL expertise (must-have) • Experience working with Azure and Snowflake environments • Solid understanding of data structures and working with large datasets • Ability to work closely with business users in Capital Markets Nice to have: C#, React/Django, Airflow, DBT, Power BI *** Why This Role Stands Out*** You’ll be part of a forward-looking initiative modernizing investment platforms at scale—working with cutting-edge cloud technologies in a high-performance financial environment.
