Data/Business Analyst
Job Description
We are hiring for a Data/Business Analyst position in Downtown Toronto, offering a hybrid work model with 2-3 days on-site. The rate for this role is $65 per hour.
**Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:**
– 5+ years as a Data/Business Analyst with proven experience in data migration projects, documenting end-to-end data lineage, and creating source-to-target mappings.
– 3-5 years of strong SQL experience, specifically with SQL Server, writing and analyzing complex queries and stored procedures to profile data and identify inconsistencies.
– 3-5 years of experience with Power BI, focusing on analyzing existing Power BI reports, DAX, queries, and dataflows to extract and document business logic.
– Demonstrated experience in Data Quality & Governance, including conducting root-cause analysis for data issues and working with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) for data hygiene.
– Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms, ideally Azure Databricks, to facilitate the mapping of legacy data to new cloud-based data products.
