What You’ll Be Doing
As Consultant, Production Application Support, you will be joining CIBC’s Personal Banking Products Technology Team to provide support to application delivery for the Enterprise Content Management Technology portfolio. You’ll be at the heart of CIBC’s content management transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects involving multiple back-end systems. You will support project and BAU teams build, implement and maintain easy, flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the client experience. You will assist in creating project artifacts, manage activities to support a refresh of existing infrastructure, or deploy new ones to cloud based. Manage deviations by renewing or retiring apps, estimating on scope of work for intakes. Create and submit Technology Operations intake for projects requiring TO resources and manage it end to end. Work closely with our internal business partners and external vendors ensuring project control procedures and policies are executed.

Leveraging technology – Become a technology expert. Share your knowledge by introducing clients to our mobile banking applications, enabling them to better manage their banking needs.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate 3-5 years of experience with programming and troubleshooting skills in .NET and Visual Basic. Experience with Tungsten (Kofax) application support is highly desirable. In-depth knowledge of Windows Server administration and maintenance. Familiarity with Azure and other cloud platforms for deployment and monitoring. Proficiency in Unix commands, scripting, and system maintenance. Experience with troubleshooting Java code is a good to have.
Understanding Requirements – Work closely with Business and Technology Partners to understand complex business requirements
Solution Design – Prepare and validate Solution Design documents to ensure business partner needs are met
Operations Management – Coordinate analysis to identify any Ops issues and potential resolutions investigate complex problems, making sense of information. Confident in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way. Streamline and document Operational best practices. Act as an advocate for the end-user, you will work with internal partners to determine, negotiate and manage services to agreed service levels, take ownership and drive excellence in service delivery across the team. Ensuring alignment to business needs, negotiating delivery milestones and escalations with clear lines of communications throughout delivery. Escalate technology issues to the appropriate application support and technology infrastructure groups.
