Cloud Solutions Architect

THIS CONTRACT HAS A TBD START DATE AND GOES FOR 13 MONTHS LATER (GREAT CHANCE OF EXTENSION)
LOCATION: HYBRID (PREFERRED 3 DAYS A WEEK ON ONSITE IN OTTAWA)

Experience:

👉Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
👉Must have strong knowledge in IPSec tunnels, Azure, AWS, VMware, Hyper-V, vCenter, penetration tests, VLAN’s and Edge Uplinks, VMware and NSX.
👉Must have 5+ years of experience in managing cloud projects, with a focus on VM migrations into VPC and Private Cloud Platforms.
👉Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Experience:

👉Must have a minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect or in a similar role.
👉Must have a proven track record in leading and managing cloud migration projects from start to finish, especially in private, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
👉Must have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, virtual platforms, and VM migrations.

Certifications:

Must have at least 1 of the certifications below:
👉Microsoft Azure Certification (Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent).
👉VMware Certification (VCP-DCV or equivalent).
👉CompTIA Cloud+ Certification.
👉Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification.
👉Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
