Cloud Operations Manager
Permanent Direct Hire Role
Location: Ottawa
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience working in banking and financial institutions and/or large enterprise IT environments is desirable10+ years of experience in IT operations with at least 5 years focused on cloud services.Proven experience in managing cloud environments (AWS or Azure) at an enterprise scale.Experience in automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation) and CI/CD pipelines.Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Azure Monitoring, etc.).Must have exposure to networking, security best practices, and compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC2, NIST, etc.).Strong leadership and team management skills.Certifications in cloud technologies.Industry-accepted certifications in management space.
