We are hiring a Business Systems Analyst – Expert for a 6-month contract with potential extensions in Toronto, ON. This position offers a hybrid working model, requiring in-office presence on Thursdays and the 4th Friday of each month.

**Must-Have Skills:**
– Strong business analytic skills to understand complex business processes and challenges.
– Experience in requirements gathering and designing tactical and strategic solutions.
– Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working with agile development teams to deliver solutions to production environments.
– Ability to work with business teams to create test cases, and depending on resources, may require executing test cases or collaborating with QA for execution/automation.
– Proficiency in SQL and Excel.
– Experience in Global Asset Management, Wealth, or Capital Markets, with an understanding of the trade life cycle and system interconnectivity.
– Demonstrated experience with at least one asset class (Equities, Fixed Income, FX, or Money Market).

**Nice-to-Have Skills:**
– Willingness to learn Power BI and Databricks.
– Familiarity with Python or VBA.
– Experience with IBOR (Investment Book of Record) migration.
