🚨 Now Hiring: Business Analyst V – Risk & Controls | Toronto, ON
We’re currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst V to join a leading financial institution in Toronto on a 6-month contract, with a potential for extension.
📍 Location: 222 Bay Street, Toronto – Hybrid (2 days onsite)
📅 Start: ASAP
⏳ Duration: 6 months
🕘 Hours: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
🔍 What You’ll Be Doing
Support Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and related documentation
Create and maintain process maps, business process inventories, and control documentation
Engage stakeholders to assess process risks, identify controls, and uncover control gaps
Execute key control testing and analyze, report, and track exceptions through resolution
Support remediation plans and root-cause analysis for internal control gaps
Assess Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
Identify opportunities to improve processes and testing efficiencies
Support ad-hoc risk, governance, and control initiatives
✅ Must-Have Experience
3+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree
Strong, hands-on RCSA experience — end-to-end experience is essential
Advanced knowledge of governance, risk, and controls
Prior audit and/or quality control testing experience
Strong MS Excel skills, including formulas
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple deliverables, and meet tight deadlines
⭐ Nice to Have
Wholesale/derivatives operations experience
Experience working with traders, operations, and front-office teams
Aris experience for process mapping
