Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Banking Associate-RRSP/Mutual Funds. This position offers a chance to contribute to critical operational processes within a leading financial institution, with potential for extension and conversion based on performance and business needs. You will be responsible for managing transfers and verifying documentation to ensure accuracy, supporting internal partners, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $24.88/hr

Responsibilities

Review and verify transfer documentation for accuracy and completeness
Identify discrepancies or missing information and communicate findings to partners
Advise internal partners on transfer-related issues and support timely resolution
Manage assigned transfer requests efficiently, adhering to SLA standards
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational compliance and accuracy
Maintain detailed records of transactions and processing activities
Participate in daily team touchpoints and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Ensure all activities comply with banking policies, procedures, and audit standards
Adapt to technological changes and implement new process enhancements
Demonstrate flexibility in handling high-volume workloads within tight deadlines
Desired Skill-Set

2–4 years of banking or financial institute experience
Proficiency in Microsoft 365: Excel, Outlook, Word
Experience with transfers/transactions in an operational context
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Analytical mindset with good organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Good understanding of banking policies and processes
Nice to Have

Experience in running Macros in Excel
Familiarity with global and WSS platforms
Knowledge of MM and FX products such as options, foreign exchange spots and forwards, money market deposits and loans
